It is an exciting time to be involved in the Green & Sustainable building arena! Everyday there are new solutions and challenges that are overcome. The Green Experience will mirror that sense of excitement and forward thinking through exciting sessions and an interactive exhibit floor. Do you have an exciting topic to share? The link at the bottom of this page will lead you to the submission form.
The Green Experience Conference & Exposition is now accepting proposals for presentations during the 2008 conference. On May 1 and 2 the main conference sessions, “Green Building Leadership Seminars”, will highlight in-depth sessions in the 90+ minute range.
This year’s conference will also host the “Green Builder Sessions” on May 3 and 4, special 30 minute sessions that will be no cost to the attendees.
We are seeking best practices from leaders and implementers who have created, directed and/or managed successful programs or projects.
Our goal is to provide training, information and follow up resources that will increase understanding of current challenges, and support the efforts of those attendees who are looking for sustainable solutions.

Please Note: The list provided above gives sample areas and topics to be addressed. Please feel free to expand and include your unique presentation title. At the end of the Call For Presentations process, we will condense down the overall main and sub topic areas.
ATTENDEES
The attendees of The Green Experience Conference & Exposition represent building professionals from throughout Southern California, the State of California and beyond. The primary attendees will come from: Private Sector, Local Government, State Government and Education.
Private Sector: Architects, Asset Managers, Builders, Building Owners, Facility Managers, Designers, Developers, Engineers, Leasing professionals, Lending Experts, Property Managers, Etc.
Local & Local Government: The list of each areas responsibility is quite large and will contain staff, executives and managers involved in Green Solutions.
K-20 Education: Architects, Building Maintenance Managers, Construction Managers, Curriculum Directors and Teachers, School Building Planning & Design Professionals, Financial Professionals, Superintendents and School Principals, Transportation Specialists,
Utilities, Etc.

PRESENTATION TYPES
May 1-2
Green Building Leadership Seminars:
Special Interest Symposiums are 90-minute sessions, delving into a specific topic of interest. You and/or your panel of speakers will present a topic relevant to the effective use of green solutions while offering participants a highly interactive experience. This is a perfect format in which to offer differing opinions for debate.
May 3-4
Green Builder Sessions:
These special consumer sessions will provide all attendees the opportunity to hear about your exciting green solutions. Each 30-minute session will showcase your green solutions to a broad base of attendees. These sessions can also include companies showcasing their newest products and services in the green marketplace.
PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
Engaging and interactive sessions are the basis of the best educational programs. Real-world examples and experience are critical. Ideally, participants will leave a session inspired, with a clear view of their “next” steps in regard to the topic, and are made aware of where they can find additional resources.
Panel presentations offer a means to provoke dialog and bring multiple perspectives to a topic; presenters may be asked to combine with other sessions if multiple submissions address the same subject.
EVALUATION PROCESS
Scoring is based on:
Concise and well-written description that includes who will benefit and
the outcome(s) of session
Relevancy
Presenter(s) knowledge & experience
Dynamic, innovative, fresh content
