The Green Valley: Making the Inland Empire Fertile for Green Clean Tech Companies to Thrive
Keynote Speaker: Marc Gottschalk, partner in Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati’s real estate and environmental practice and heads the environmental practice.
Panel Discussion
How can start-up green clean tech companies form and grow in the Inland Empire area in the absence of the resources and infrastructure of a place like Silicon Valley? This keynote speech will address the question by providing an overview of clean tech investing and funding sources and then focusing on the creation of networks both within the Inland Empire area and elsewhere in a way that encourages entrepreneurship and the formation and development of new ideas and companies. Part of that discussion will be to introduce the California Clean Tech Open and how that can play an important role.
The panel portion of the talk will focus more specifically on the trials and tribulations of fundraising for clean tech companies.
Speakers:
Jim Sanfilippo - Nila Lighting,
John Robison, NGEN Partners,
Bob O'Connor, Wilson Sonsini
