Green Building is one of the leading drivers in the demand for sustainable forest products. LEED, consumer knowledge, and environmental pressures are coming together to emphasize the need to use renewable resources to create our built environment. Choosing better building products can reduce our carbon footprint, lessen the strain on our natural resources, and support innovation in the design process. This program will help attendees understand the importance of sustainable forestry important and gain an understanding of where the wood being used for building comes from.
